We had our Sunday school going away party tonight. I guess it is kind of becoming real that we are moving. We leave a week from Friday. Everyone keeps asking me if I'm excited and no, I'm really not. I'm not excited about moving somewhere where I know nothing. I know how to get from our apartment to Jake's school (I think). I do not know where the Wal Mart is, or where I am going to be working, or where Lou will be in daycare, or where we will be attending church. I know it's an adventure but I don't really like change, I guess. I'm getting Jake a GPS system for Father's Day so I'll be able to find my way around (that's right, it's really for me!) It's hard going from somewhere where you know everything and 10 different back ways to get everywhere to somewhere where you know nothing. I know people do it all the time but I don't. I know we will be fine and God has lots in store for us and I trust him but I'm not excited about uprooting my life here.
I still promise to update with pictures one day soon. I've just got to find the cable that hooks the camera up to the computer. That's one thing I am excited about... being settled somewhere and not living out of a box anymore. More to come...
